Jenny Pospieszny – Aromatherapy Coach

facebooktwittergoogle_pluspinterestmail
13 : 18 Querformat

Jenny grew up in East Berlin in the 80s, she is an all-Berliner and a straight shooter with a big big heart! After years of working in an office, she decided to pick up the art of massaging as her way of personal development. Before she knew it, she was hooked and she worked to become a massively successful masseur in Berlin, working for 5 star hotels and subsequently managing hotel spas herself.

Her training began as a relaxationn therapist, specializing in hypnosis and Progressive Muscle Relaxation according to Jacobson. In 2011, she started advancing her knowledge in aroma-therapy and became an expert in using aroma to ease body tension and soothe troubled emotions. Her passion for natural healing continues, as she  eventually mastered the skill of quantum healing.

Jenny is an all rounded masseuer mastering skills of different kinds of massage techniques and therapeutic treatments. She uses Aromatherapy to treat her clients’ mental, as well as, physical discomforts on a daily basis. Her experience and feedback from her clients proves the effectiveness of her approach. She believe we  should all try to heal our body naturally before committing to heavy medication. She believes good health is maintained on a regular basis at home. For that reason, she had the idea to organize workshops to coach people who are interested to use aromatherapy in their wellness routine.

Since she is a well soughted masseur in Berlin, working with various 5 star hotels and important clients in the city; her job doesn’t leave her with alot of time for workshops. LearnApe is very honoured to represent and work with her in her upcoming Aromatherapy workshop.

Birgit von Borstel – a real STAR in the world of Astrology

facebooktwittergoogle_pluspinterestmail
birgit-neu-kl
From the outside, Birgit has a pixie hairstyle, she is what we call cool. She studied Psychology and Philosophy, and have worked as a DJane, club manager, promoter and finally a product manager in a record label. Little does she know, her life path would lead her to become a prominent Astrologist/Psychologist in Germany.
This blooming bud stem from when she was 16 years old, when she came across Astrology. Like everyone else, she was fascinated but at the same time skeptic about this connection between humans personalities and well-beings with the planets. The two (people and planets) seems so far away. Where is the connection. Where is the prove?
Birgit went through a long journey of finding these answers to those questions. She trained herself to calculating and creating horoscopes, and through an in-depth study of the relevant literary titles, lengthy conversations and personal observations, just like studying and getting to know any subjects in life, she eventually found the connections and learned how to interpret Astrology. She is convinced, people would have so much to benefit from the understanding of our cosmos, and every invincible element around us.  We are all connected.

Natural as Psychologist, she was fascination in using Astrology to study peoples’ intentions and motivations to detect aptitudes and proclivities that characterize a personality.  She realized that an astrological world view not only enables us to be more open-minded, tolerant and authentic but also reveals new ways of approaching problems, encouraging potentials, and finding solutions.

In order to better understand how to evaluate the information provided by the horoscope and to create a comprehensive and sensible interpretation, she completed a course in psychological astrology in Hamburg between 1999 and 2002. Here she learned how to structure the complexity that horoscope interpretation entails. Since 2007, Birgit works also as a teacher for Astrology in Hamburg in Berlin.

Birgit von Borstel is a certificated astrologer of medieval astrology (CMA) , DAV (German Astrologer Association), and member of the DAV examination board since 2011. I am also member of ATA (Arbeitskreis Traditionelle Astrologie), a research group for traditional Astrology with members from Germany, the Netherlands and Austria. She is qualified as a coach and for working as a health care practitioner, specialized in the field of psychotherapy. Birgit works with both modern and traditional astrology techniques.

When a workshop does it right!

facebooktwittergoogle_pluspinterestmail

It may have been just a normal Tuesday for some, enjoying dinner at home and watching TV after work….How I usually spend my Tuesday evenings. But this Tuesday evening was surprisingly inspiring for me. I joined Gemma Hannah’s Self Made Xmas Gift workshop at her natural handmade body product studio/shop – Cocotu Apothecary in Kreuzberg. The workshop started at 7pm, I was slightly late but as soon as I stepped into the room, I was greeted with such wonderful scents, beautiful art works (Gemma shares her work space with an artist) and warm smiley faces. I did not know anyone prior to this, but everyone seems so relaxed and pleasant. Well… when you are surrounded by a melange of quality essential oils, its hard to not feel relaxed and pleasant :) The smiles across the table signal, its gonna be an awesome evening for me.
As I arrived, Gemma was already well in her way of demonstrating how to make Bath boms – balls that contain cocoa butter and shea butter with coconut oil that fizzes away when its soaked in water. Cocoa butter, shea butter and coconut oil…some serious moisturizer there, I’d say ‘luxus pur’ for my winter dry skin. At the same moment, I realize Gemma puts quite alot of attention on how she presents her workshop, from pretty wild flowers in mini jars decor to preparing a wide range of essential oils and natural products such as clay, sea salt and dry flowers for us to use in our self made products.

The 2nd product was a highlight for me, Gemma proceeds to teach us how to make our own candles!!! Using environmentally friendly and vegan friendly soy wax. She insists on using the best natural products and that reflects her own products – Cocotu.

Making the soy candles were surprisingly simple but we also get knowledge on the different essential oils and their benefits. Gemma gave us the freedom to choose for our fav scents and to mix and match as we wish.  The experience was a creative and eye opening one. Although my choice was a boring one.. I just love Bergamot and kept to that. We got to be NOSY and smell into other people’s creative mixes. It was such a lovely mix, my fav was Rose and Chamomile combination. While we wait for the soy to cool and set, Gemma made us tea and served us amazing Honey wafflers!!!!!!! I am now official a FAN. Of Gemma and the honey waffles. :)

Last product to try was bath salts. We got a short introductions to the benefit of bathing with such bath salts – Epsom and sea salt and got busy with our scent mixing. Gemma was generous enough to also teach us creative and rustic ways to decorate and pack our home made xmas presents. The ideas were sweet, simple and elegant. My jar of soy candle with Bergamot scent looks exactly like the 40euro candles from Jo Malone! Thank you Gemma Hannah, I cannot recommend this workshop more to ANYONE who wants to just feel REALLY good about themselves on a regular Tuesday evening! 😉

Enrique – Deutschkurs für spanisch sprechende Menschen

facebooktwittergoogle_pluspinterestmail

Sorry, this entry is only available in German. For the sake of viewer convenience, the content is shown below in the alternative language. You may click the link to switch the active language.
